Jeff has been the managing partner of Kensington Investment Counsel (K.I.C.) since January 2010 and has been a partner since 2000. Before joining K.I.C. in 1999, Jeff worked as a financial analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was a part of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York City and the Corporate Lending Group in Los Angeles. While at Credit Suisse, Jeff provided valuation analysis and capital structure guidance to strategic and financial buyers and sellers involved in transactions.
Apart from his work, Jeff is actively involved in the Long Beach community. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Long Beach. Additionally, Jeff is an investment committee member of the Long Beach Rotary Scholarship Foundation, and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation. Jeff resides in Long Beach with his wife and daughter.
Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from U.C.L.A. (1993) where he was a member of the varsity water polo team.
