Heather, a valued member of Kensington Investment, joined the firm part-time almost 7 years ago. Growing up in Rossmoor, she found a perfect fit at Kensington Investment alongside her long-time family friends, the Wimbishes. After earning her business degree from the University of San Diego, Heather returned to the area and began her career at Henderson Insurance Agency. For over 10 years, she managed the unique insurance needs of drycleaners all across California. Married to her husband Scott for 29 years, they have raised their 3 children in Naples and are soon to be empty nesters. Heather chose to prioritize her family, dedicating nearly 15 years as a stay-at-home mom, and is now eager to reenter the professional world as her kids mature. With the convenience of living close to the office, she happily embraces the opportunity to walk to work and looks forward to welcoming KIC clients to the new office.
Outside of work, Heather actively supports her local community and engages in charitable endeavors. She has been an active member of the National Charity League with her two daughters and served as the president of the National League of Young Men, where she participated alongside her son. Cherishing time with family and friends, Heather loves the close-knit community of Naples while maintaining her connections with historical friends from Los Alamitos and Seal Beach. When she’s not working, you can find Heather walking her dogs, enjoying time on the water, or simply relaxing on the beach.
At Kensington Investment, Heather’s primary responsibilities include processing new applications, working on the monthly newsletter, and handling ACA compliance projects. While she doesn’t engage in financial analysis, her administrative role ensures smooth operations within the firm.
